Description, Background Information & Purpose

body

Attached is the staff report and supporting documents for a Subdivision Ordinance variance to reduce the minimum 50-foot lot frontage onto a public street to zero for the property located north of W Anderson Street, East of US HWY 20, south of Science Center Drive, and west of N Boulevard and Reasoned Statement of Relevant Criteria and Standards to reduce the minimum 50-foot lot frontage onto a public street to zero for referenced location. The variance will allow the property to be subdivided into smaller lots including internal lots that won’t have direct street frontage. Access to the property will continue to come from Anderson Street through cross access easements. On February 3, 2026, The Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend approval of the variance to the Mayor and City Council with a vote of 4 to 3.
